Places your eggs into a pot and cover them with cold water, 1 inch above the eggs.
Bring the water to a boil over high heat.
Once the water is boiling, turn off the heat and cover the pot with a lid.
Let the eggs sit in the hot water (Do Not Uncover) for 9-12 minutes depending on the desired doneness.
After the eggs are done, carefully remove them from the hot water with a slotted spoon and transfer them to a bowl of ice water.
Let the eggs cool in the ice water for at least 5 minutes.
Once the eggs have cooled, gently tap them on a hard surface to crack the shell and peel off the shell under running water.
