Ingredients

  • 2 lb Ground Beef
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1/2 medium red onion, sliced
  • 6-8 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 6 oz cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 12 dinner rolls (I used Hawaiian Sweet Rolls).
  • Optional toppings like ketchup, mustard, and pickles

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 350°F
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine all the ingredients.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add olive oil to the skillet and let it heat up for a few seconds. Sauté onions. Set aside in small bowl.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet. Use a wooden spoon or meat chopper to break up the meat into small pieces as it cooks. Drain the excess fat. Set aside.
  • Cook the ground beef for 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it is browned and no longer pink.
  • Cut the slider rolls lengthwise. Layer the bottom of a 9x13 inch baking dish with the bottom of the slider buns. Top with slices of cheese.
  • Place the cooked ground meat mixture on top of the slices of cheese. Add sliced onions on top. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  • Place the top of buns over the sliders. Bake the cheeseburger sliders in the oven for 15-20 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
  • Once the cheese is melted, remove the dish from the oven and add your desired toppings like ketchup, mustard, and pickles.
  • Serve the cheeseburger sliders hot and enjoy!
