4 angus steaks
1 cup mayo
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 cup panko breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 tablespoons butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Mix the mayo, grated Parmesan cheese, and panko breadcrumbs in a bowl.
Season the steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
Heat a large oven-safe skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter to the skillet and let it melt.
Once the butter has melted, add the seasoned steaks to the skillet.
Sear the steaks on each side for 2-3 minutes until they have a golden brown crust.
Remove the skillet from the heat. Use a spoon to evenly spread the Parmesan and breadcrumb mixture on top of each steak.
Place the skillet in the oven and bake for 5-7 minutes until the crust is golden brown and the steak is cooked to your desired level of doneness.
Remove the skillet from the oven and let the parmesan crusted steaks rest for ten minutes before serving.
Tips
Ensure your skillet is oven-safe so you can transfer it to the oven.
Use a meat thermometer to check the internal temperature of the steak. For medium-rare, the temperature should be 135°F; for medium, it should be 145°F; and for well-done, it should be 160°F.
Letting the steak rest after cooking allows the juices to redistribute, resulting in a more tender and flavorful steak.
This steak is delicious and easy to make. It’s perfect for dinner with friends or family, and the Parmesan crust gives it something extra that will have everyone asking for seconds!
Enjoy your delicious Parmesan crusted steak!
